As part of various projects with regard to acquisition or improvement of telecommunication networks, the Network Architect participates in the design, integration, deployment, maintenance and operation of networks with the following features:
• Highly secure
• High availability
• Serving critical applications
• Integrating various technologies (IP, UHF / VHF mobile radio, telephone systems, cameras)
• Having terrestrial, wireless and satellite links.
Be proactive and customer oriented;
Skilled in communication and interpersonal relations;
Know how to build and be surrounded by effective work teams.
Engineering degree with telecommunication specialization or any combination of education and relevant experience to this position;
Minimum of 10 years experience in design, deployment and migration / integration of large-scale networks;
Ability to perform discovery, re-engineering or reverse engineering of networks;
Familiarity with industrial network equipment;
Good knowledge of various protocols pertaining to network management and security, routing and traffic analysis;
Experience in physical and logical security management;
Familiarity with various telecommunication transmission standards;
Good knowledge of network management and operation software;
Available for assignment at customer site, 35% average;
Asset: Knowledge of good practices regarding the design of IT infrastructures such as server rooms and telecommunication rooms;
Asset: Knowledge of various industrial network communication protocols;
Bilingual, French and English.
