Job Description :
By joining our team, you will be asked to contribute to the various stages of project execution, from proposals to site supervision and the commissioning of electrical installations, including participating in analyses of industrial electrical systems, detailed engineering and site surveys. Among other tasks, you will be expected to apply established calculation and design methods when preparing plans, lists of materials, lists of cables, technical specifications and estimates. You will also be expected to lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensure the quality of professional service and maintain positive client relations in the region. You will work closely with our offices across Canada.

More concretely, your duties will include:

Under the supervision of an engineer, preparing the plans and specifications necessary to carry out engineering projects.
Designing low-voltage electrical equipment installations.
Designing motor control centres.
Designing low-voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, UPS systems, generator sets, fire alarm systems and access control systems.
Drafting specifications.
Estimating work.
Checking shop drawings.
Supervising site work
Participating in starting up LV and MV electrical apparatus.
Serve as Discipline Lead to carry out low-voltage projects for clients.
Participating in drafting proposals.
Being responsible for business relations and the quality of professional services.
Participating in project management (project team, costs and schedules).

Requirements :
DCS in Electrical Engineering technologies
From 3 to 10 years of electrical engineering experience
Proficient with Chapter 5 (Electricity) of the 2010 Québec Construction Code
Proficient with the Canadian Electrical Code 2015
Knowledge of the Building Code, applicable in both Québec and Canada
Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project)
Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit and AGi32 software
Availability for short- and long-term assignments at client offices or sites
Bilingual (English and French) spoken and written, ability to draft technical documents in both English and French.
Asset: Experience in a consulting engineering office
Asset: Knowledge of CATIA software
