Job Description :
• As an engineer, your role will be to contribute to proposals, perform engineering make technological choices and take part in project implementation.
Within the scope of this function, your duties would include:
• Manage and participate in project design studies;
• Manage and participate in designing plans, specifications and details based on guidelines, as part of projects regarding HVAC systems for process equipment and industrial buildings;
• Supervise and/or perform design calculations and ensure that plans correspond to guidelines, codes and other regulations;
• Establish and maintain contacts with clients for needs analysis purposes;
• Present technical information, concepts or study results;
• Ensure the verification and production of proposal files, specifications and other technical documents;
• Assign and review the work of junior engineers, technicians and draftspersons working on a project and evaluate the technical scope;
• Ensure that work complies with established budgets, schedules, estimates and procedures.

Requirements :
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering and member of the EGBC
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in mechanical engineering in the industrial, energy or mining sectors
• Experience in design of HVAC systems
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and other applications as well as databases and interfaces
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and SmartPlant
• Ability to travel
• Availability for short-term (“must”) and long-term (“want”) assignments at client offices or sites in Canada
