Job Description :
When joining our team, your role will consist of collaborating with members of multidisciplinary engineering teams (engineers, technicians, draftsmen and other team members) and working on several projects by performing tasks related to consulting engineering such as study, design, detail engineering or commissioning.

Specifically, your internship will consist of:

Apply established calculation and design methods
Participate in the review and analysis of process schematics (PFD) and instrumentation/pipework (P&ID)
Develop mass and thermal balances with software such as Excel, Bilmat, MetSim or HSC
Sizing of process equipment
Assist in the development of internal tools and research in emerging technologies
Receive theoretical and practical training on the various phases of the work related to their field of academic knowledge
Participate in the preparation of reports, specifications, quotations, tenders
Perform routine field inspections or technical surveys.
Support the engineer or technician during performance tests or commissioning.
Assist engineers, designers and level technicians by performing tasks that require precision in calculations and accuracy in obtaining the required data.

Requirements :
Be enrolled in a university program in metallurgical or chemical engineering
Minimum knowledge of reading drawings
Bilingualism, English and French, both oral and written
Availability for travel between BBA offices in the Greater Montreal area
Excellent knowledge of the MS-Office suite and other relevant software
Asset: Knowledge of VBA programming
Asset: Previous experience in mineral processing (internship or in classroom).
