Job Description :
By joining our Human Resources team, you will leverage your expertise in total compensation with various internal stakeholders. You must apply our compensation programs, tools, practices and policies and participate in their development and optimization.

You will contribute to achieving the firm’s strategic planning objectives by implementing effective tools and proposing concrete strategies to attract the best candidates and engage our valued employees. Moreover, you will be the back-up resource for group benefits and the pension plan.

You will be required to:
Participate in developing, implementing and monitoring best practices, policies, procedures and work tools in compensation in order to optimize organizational performance.
Direct salary management activities to improve the total compensation offer and in accordance with executive management’s strategic orientations.
Direct the steps for the bonus allocation and annual salary review process, including participation in salary surveys and benchmarking.
Communicate with all hierarchical levels and serve as internal specialist.
Share your expertise in total compensation with the HR team to make it easier to apply programs and guidelines.
Lead and coordinate partnerships with our external consultants.
Conduct various compensation projects that involve developing or revising compensation policies, guidelines and training materials.
Participate in job assessments, salary recommendations, compensation and benefits surveys, as well as market analyses of policies and practices, and propose solutions for business challenges.
Ensure the maintenance and integrity of compensation data in the HR information system and manage reports and analyses.
Serve as back-up for various benefit and pension plan initiatives, where necessary.

Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in HR management, industrial relations or business administration, actuarial science or equivalent
From five to seven years of experience in total compensation
Bilingual essential (English/French), both spoken and written
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and of HR IT systems, and very skilled with other computer tools and technological systems
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and client service skills
Available to travel to BBA offices in the greater Montréal area (downtown Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire)
Asset: Knowledge of group insurance and pension plans
Asset: Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
