Job Description :
As a civil engineer with at least 10 years experience, you will be responsible for working with a team of around 15 EITs, senior engineers and designers to design steel and concrete structures. Typical projects would be small hydropower design, heavy industrial plants, mining processing plant and municipal infrastructure.

You will also participate in business development and take on some project management roles.

Your work will include:
• Design of wide variety of steel and concrete structures across the entire country include designing in high seismic areas
• Design of all foundation types
• Support drafting team in the layout of steel and concrete structures
• Help prepare design specifications, design basis memos and reports
• Contribute to work planning, organization and evaluation
• Participate in site inspections and surveys
• Participate in preparing estimates, bills of quantities, schedules and budgets
• Prepare quality plans for engineering design and construction
• Perform quality control for the work of engineers and designers both in the office and at site
• Assess client satisfaction and maintain close, harmonious relations with the client or its representatives
• Coordinate on-site work of contractors and supervise the work
• Carry out other technical duties to assist with projects

Requirements :
You must have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – specialized in structural design
• At least 10 years of experience
• Available to visit our clients (20% to 40% of the time on a yearly basis)
• ntermediate knowledge of quality system processes and instructions
• Proficiency in technical writing
• Knowledge of structural analysis software such as SAP2000 ,ETABS, STAAD.Pro

The following would be an asset:
• Finite Element Modeling Experience (CFD,Structral); preferred software is ANSYS
