Job Description :
As a member of the Finance and Administration Department and under the responsibility of the corporate controller, you will be required to:

• Take charge of the month-end accounting process to ensure timely delivery of the various required reports.
• Prepare financial statements (monthly and quarterly) and ensure the relevance and consistency of accounting entries.
• Perform financial analyses for monthly financial statements and analyze budget gaps.
• Draft technical memos about accounting pronouncements for the year-end audit process.
• Serve as team leader for the Accounting team (3 people, including 2 CPAs). Ensure the professional development of team members and ensure continued improvement of the underlying internal processes.
• Serve as an expert user for various accounting platforms (ERP, business intelligence, etc.) in a multi-company, multi-currency context.
• Ensure that the various tax files are kept up to date and validate the government remittance documents for the group's various entities.
• Serve as the main point of contact in the annual external audit process for financial statements and assist the auditors.
• Actively participate in preparing various government audit files and serve as the main point of contact for these audits.
• Provide the required documents and serve as the main contact when preparing tax returns for BBA's various entities.
• Prepare various reports based on manager needs.
• Help the corporate controller in various strategic areas of continuous improvement.
• Carry out any other related tasks

Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Professional accounting title (CPA)
• From 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
• Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
• Experience in personnel management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel in particular
• Asset: Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package
